One of the roles in my work I enjoy the most is helping students develop their research projects. I have had the luck of supervising several MSc and a PhD thesis as you can see below. All of them proudly ended up with excellent grades and great progress in their knowledge and the way they faced scientific challenges.

After these experiences, I learnt that the normally slow learning curve at the beginning of this journey always pays off. Also, I ought to recognize that there is a selfish part in it, since these guys gave me the chance to learn how to communicate my work and to lead a project.
I think students supervision gave me the skills to be more effective in those aspects, which will be key the moment I lead my own research group.
